Indya (meaning “Gorgeous Person” in Gujarati) was first established in January 2015, and is the stage name of rock artist and songwriter Laudez Rose.
After training in music at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, followed by Colins Performing Arts College, Indya went on to perform for many major artists. Starting with Noel Gallagher, she went on to perform with Space, Toploader, Gun, UB40, The SoapGirls and Velvet Insane to name a few.
Over the past seven years, Indya has toured the UK three times and released multiple singles and EPs, amassing a large and loyal fanbase. She released her last album “Rebel Music” in 2021 and has since made a comeback in 2022 with her singles “Little Crush”, “I Wanna Be the One” and “Raise Ya Vibration”.
Indya will soon release her next album “Leather n Lace” in March and, along with her backing band, has just started her 2023 tour. She has also began writing a new weekly article for TotalRock titled “Indya’s Female Crush” where she highlights female talent in the rock scene.
